2013年鑫晶鑽這個只成立6年的的藍寶石晶棒公司已成為全球前十大市佔的公司，已是全球的藍寶石晶棒龍頭。但隨著LED巿場的生態的改變鑫晶鑽的獲利逐漸地在下滑，全台LED巿場皆面臨了嚴峻的挑戰，下滑的主要原因是中國對當地廠商的補貼所造成的供過於求，以及中國構築的關稅壁壘阻擋了台灣廠商，巿場上出現了越來越多的倒閉二線廠商，鑫晶鑽重新確認公司的戰略計劃，決定將重點放在突破中國的封鎖，以拓展更多的下游公司，以求站穩藍寶石晶棒的龍頭地位。
本研究係採用哈佛個案教學方式撰寫，經由案例的探討，可以讓學員了解在巿場變動的環境下，政府政策及產品的策略分析與決策，透過策略聯盟，巿場分析及本身優劣勢，了解會計評價的方式。達到資源整合共享以降低成本，創造盈利與競爭優勢，以達到最佳的獲利能力，達到雙贏的局面。

Xinjingzhuan, a sapphire ingot company established in 2013, has become the world's top ten companies and the industry leader in the past six years. However, the ecology of the LED market shifted, making the profit gradually decline. The entire LED market in Taiwan, therefore, has to face severe challenges. The main reason for the decline is the oversupply caused by China's subsidies to local manufacturers. Moreover, the tariff built by China has blocked Taiwanese manufacturers from making profits and led to more and more second-tier manufacturers' shutdowns. Xinjingzhuan reconfirmed the company's strategic plan and decided to focus on breaking through China's blockade in order to expand more downstream companies and secure the leading position of sapphire ingots.
This research is written using the Harvard case teaching method. Through the discussion of cases, students can understand the strategic analysis and decision-making of government policies and products in a changing market environment. Through strategic alliances, market analysis, and their own pros and cons, students can understand the accounting method of evaluation, integrate resources, reduce costs, create the best profitability and competitive advantages, and therefore achieve a win-win situation.
