衣服模擬在動畫中被大量使用時,其模擬結果的準確性與模擬的效率是兩個主要的研究問題。本研究採取實際觀察衣服的特性與模擬的表現作為相關知識的取得,並利用既有軟體來做測試工具,分析衣服模擬的設定方式與功能。透過實際的案例製作,在過程中記錄衣服模擬時的參數與運算速度,並觀察衣服在模擬時的情況,找出有效率的模擬方法,提供給有興趣製作衣服模擬的3D動畫創作者,後續研究之參考。
With its extensive usage in animation, Clothes Simulation’s two most discussed issues are its accuracy and efficiency. From my observation of the special physical properties of clothing, and with the usage of existing software as my testing tool, the purpose of my research is to analyze the accurate settings and functions necessary to achieve the desired simulation effect.
Through my sample case demonstrations, the parameters and rendering speeds all have been recorded, as well as the clothes simulation effects. By studying these information, my goal is to identify the most efficient simulating method for this technique, so that it can be used as further reference for 3D animators interested in learning more in this area.
