  • The unique niche IPC of the information technology market represents a fast-growing business segment. Implementation of technologies in different industries makes these products in higher demand. In pursuit of growth, IPC manufacturers are attempting to enter international markets.
    Countries of developing economies represent emerging markets are featured by distinctively different environments and require specific business strategies and risk management. The paper presents the business case of a Taiwanese IPC manufacturer, an analysis of its business strategy, and issues it faced in emerging markets of Russia and Russian-speaking countries due to the change in political and economic environment after the Russian military operation in Ukraine. The entry mode of distribution and risk avoidance approaches were proposed. Given research can find its implication for other international companies, trying to enter or already operating in emerging markets of Russian-speaking countries.
