當代城市整體發展受到全球化思潮以及日新月異的資訊科技之影響，人類的生活型態和社會文化產生極大之改變，在城市高度開發以及人口密度提升的情況下，建築、社會和環境的關係成為建築規劃和設計時的重要議題。集合住宅作為當代生活型態以及社會文化行為之體現，居住單元之間的關係以及其空間組構成為重要影響因素，本研究針對當代知名事務所Bjarke Ingels Group集合住宅作品之案例屬性、基地區位，規劃其住宅單元和空間的組構，探討集合住宅的設計手法如何體現當代生活型態和社會文化行為，進而理解Bjarke Ingels Group如何透過集合住宅作品重新詮釋當代社會凝聚器之精神思想。

研究發現，社會凝聚器一詞概念之應用於當代集合住宅中，在精神思想和理論上經過多次轉譯，從創造新的生活型態之理想逐漸演變成為與當代生活型態相互呼應之態度。而社會凝聚器的概念在Bjarke Ingels Group於當代集合住宅的詮釋下，空間組構上透過設計手法創造非目的性空間，藉此達到社會凝聚之效應，逐漸演變為直接地規劃社交性公共空間。

Bjarke Ingels Group透過社會凝聚器概念在集合住宅中的應用，模糊了公共和私密空間的界線，減少住宅單元之間因爲當代發展和生活型態而造成的疏離，同時透過整體環境規劃，淡化基地與周邊環境之隔閡，使得集合住宅融入整體都市景觀，進而整合了建築、環境與社會之間的關係。

The development of contemporary cities is under the influence of globalization and ever-improving technology, there are tremendous metamorphosis in lifestyle and social culture. The argument of the relationship between architecture, society and environment is getting more conspicuous because of highly developed cities and increasing population density. As a manifestation of contemporary lifestyle and social-cultural behaviors, the connection with residential units and the spatial composition in the complex are critical influencing aspects. Through analyses of the attributes, location, residential units, and common spaces in the cases from contemporary firm Bjarke Ingels Group, discussing how the design approach reflects contemporary lifestyle and social culture and how Bjarke Ingels Group reinterprets social condenser in contemporary residential complex.

The Study has demonstrated that the concept of social condenser in residential complex process multiple times of transcription has gradually evolved from the ideality of creating a new lifestyle to the contrivance that reflects contemporary life. Bjarke Ingels Group interprets the concept of social condenser in the contemporary residential complex in terms of spatial composition. Design approaches are used to create non-purpose spaces to encourage the reaction of the social condenser and imperceptibly evolve into the planning of common social spaces.

The concept of the social condenser in the residential complex blurred the boundary between public and private space, reducing the separation between residential units due to the contemporary development and lifestyle. Also, through the planning, the estrangement of the site and surroundings are diluted so that the residential complex was integrated into the urban landscape, organized building, environment and society.
