本論文將目標放在LNA雜訊對GPS接受訊號之影響,並且因USB本身產生之雜訊,造成GPS Chip In band有雜訊而造成整體接收訊號受到影響之解決方式。在設計GPS使用之前級放大器時,匹配電路最重要需考量到雜訊的大小為優先,而非增益大小為目的。整體LAYOUT與匹配方式對GPS接收器有著明顯的影響,匹配時可能須對二種匹配做實際量測,以確保匹配數值為最佳化。
在GPS產品上使用其他主動元件與時,更需要預先量測主動元件的EMI,尤其在PND( Portable Navigation Device可攜式導航裝置)產品上,因其包含了CPU、LCD、AUDIO以及許多其他的功能,其整各EMI的預防顯得特別重要。在CPU佈線部分需預先量測每隻clock之訊號,是否會產生高次諧波並且是否有落在GPS IN BAND內,長的trace同時也像是天線一般,特別是對clock信號和其它週期性脈波而言,所以走線越短越好並且遠離GPS部分。
This dissertation aims to explore the influence of the LNA noise on the GPS signal reception. In addition, it also tries to solve the problem of the poor GPS signal reception caused by the noise of the GPS chip IN band resulting from the USB itself. When designing the LNA, we should give priority to think about the volume of the noise in matching the circuits, rather than the purpose of amplifying. There is a significant influence of the layout and the circuit matching on the GPS signal reception. It is also suggested to conduct the actual measuring for both matching methods in the circuit matching to ensure the optimization of the matching values.
While using other active components on the GPS products, it is necessary to measure the EMI value of the active components by anticipation, especially on PND products, since they have possessed a lot of functions such as CPU, LCD and AUDIO. Therefore, the precaution of the EMI plays a decisive role here. In CPU wiring, it is recommended to measure the signal of every clock in advance to see if it will generate the harmonic and if it lies in between the GPS IN BAND. Meanwhile, as the effect of the antenna to the clock signal and other periodical pulses, the long trace should be as short as possible and kept far away from the GPS segment.
