本文針對十種取得專利之硬頂式汽車敞篷機構進行動作特徵與位移之分析與研究。首先,經由搜尋美國專利與商標辦公室(USPTO)之網際網路線上專利資料庫,取得此十種敞篷機構之基本運動結構。其次,根據構造分析方法與使用機構分析軟體,WorkingModel,所建構出之電腦動畫模型,進行各機構之運動性分析。並根據各機構之錯綜性與動作特徵,對其優點與缺點做一簡單研究與比較。此外,亦提出一有系統之計算方法,來求解各機構之封閉向量迴路方程式;此方法不僅適用於其位移分析,於日後進行最佳化設計時,對其桿件參數之靈敏度分析亦有所助益。
The motion characteristics and displacement analysis of ten patented hardtop roof mechanisms for convertible automobiles are studied in this thesis. The basic kinematic structures of these mechanisms are first acquired from the United States Patent and Trademark Office by searching the patent database through their internet website. The mobility of each mechanism is then analyzed based on structure analysis techniques and computer animation model generated by using the WorkingModel software package. The advantages and weaknesses of the mechanisms are also investigated according to their complexity and motion characteristics. In addition, a systematic approach for solving the vector loop closure equations of these mechanisms is developed; this approach is not only useful for the displacement analysis but also is valuable for sensitivity analysis of the link parameters for the purpose design optimization.
