本研究將有關工業機器人的作業類型分為設置(Set-up);生產(Production); 維修(Repair or troubleshoot);維護(Maintenance);排除異常(Handling production disturbances);其他(Other)。

With the advancement of robotics, industrial robots not only replace the heavy work of the human but also bring danger to the personnel in the workplace. The accident analysis of industrial robots is an important source of information for developing prevention strategies and making decisions. The current study analyzed 102 industrial robot accidents. Each industrial robot accidents in terms of gender, age, part of body, occupation, type of industry, source of injury, event type, performing task, and causes for these accidents. These tasks were divided into: (1)Set-up; (2)Production; (3)Repair or troubleshoot; (4)Maintenance; (5)Handing production disturbances; (6)Others. Boolean algebra analysis was applied to these 102 industrial robot accidents to derive minimal cut set causes associated with each performing task. Contributing factors and prevention measures for each patterns were derived based on the association between contributing factors and accident patterns. Some accidents cause were significantly related to the performing task. These industrial robot accidents can be eliminated by focusing on the prevention measures associated with human in danger work zone, sudden robot movement, inadequate safety device, substandard unsafe management.
