近年來隨著聯合國對於SDGs(Sustainable Development Goals)進行一系列的宣導措施,各個領域逐漸意識到永續發展的重要性,然而永續發展並非口號,一項設計計畫中是否真有達到永續發展的目標需要有更系統性的檢驗步驟,並從中歸納出建築設計要如何達成永續發展的策略。
本研究以2011年Michael Porter和Mark Kramer提出的Creating Shared Value(創造共享價值)[1]理論為依據,分析不同階段的建築設計(執行前–執行中–執行後)是如何在創造經濟利益的同時,為社會及環境帶來永續價值。
Creating Shared Value(創造共享價值)的理論可分成三個階段執行與分析:1. 重新定義企業目標(執行前) 2.重新設計價值鏈(執行中) 3.商業成功與社會影響的結合(執行後),當一個企業完整地將一個專案經由上述三個步驟完成時,可將發展過程的細節整理並調整,建立出該專案的共享價值策略,並可將這樣的策略應用於與該專案相似的社會環境問題上,再次創造新的共享價值。
在建築設計的領域上,共享價值理論三個階段的執行可個別著重在下列的項目上。在重新定義企業目標階段進行社會影響評估,評估建築對當地社區的影響。在重新設計價值鏈階段:1. 考量可以提供那些社區服務改善社區的品質和可持續性、2. 考量是否可在建築建設的過程中培養當地工人的技能和知識,提供培訓和職業發展機會、3. 考量如何提供舒適、健康、安全和可持續的室內環境,提升使用者的生活品質。在商業成功與社會影響的結合階段考量可以與那些利益相關者合作,以共同努力實現共享價值的目標。
本研究基於上述的方針作為設計策略,建立出4件可在創造經濟利益的同時解決環境議題的建築設計作品。這4件作品隨後透過競圖操作的方式驗證其想法的可行性與說服力,希望能為日後執行永續設計的研究員們提供一個完整的思維策略與參考依據。


"In recent years, with the United Nations' series of advocacy measures for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), various fields have gradually become aware of the importance of sustainable development. However, sustainable development is not just a slogan. It requires more systematic examination steps to determine whether a design project has truly achieved sustainable development goals and to derive strategies for architectural design to achieve sustainable development.
This research is based on the theory of Creating Shared Value proposed by Michael Porter and Mark Kramer in 2011 [1], analyzing how different stages of architectural design (pre-execution, execution, and post-execution) create sustainable value for society and the environment while generating economic benefits.
The theory of Creating Shared Value can be divided into three stages of execution and analysis: 1. Redefining corporate goals (pre-execution), 2. Redesigning the value chain (execution), and 3. Integrating business success with social impact (post-execution). When a company completes a project through these three steps, the details of the development process can be organized and adjusted to establish a shared value strategy for that project. This strategy can then be applied to similar social and environmental issues, creating new shared value once again.
In the field of architectural design, the execution of the three stages of the shared value theory can focus on the following aspects: In the stage of redefining corporate goals, conducting social impact assessments to evaluate the influence of the building on the local community. In the stage of redesigning the value chain: 1. Considering what community services can be provided to improve the quality and sustainability of the community, 2. Considering the possibility of cultivating local workers' skills and knowledge during the construction process, providing training and career development opportunities, and 3. Considering how to provide a comfortable, healthy, safe, and sustainable indoor environment to enhance the quality of life for users. In the stage of integrating business success with social impact, considering collaboration with stakeholders to collectively achieve shared value goals.
Based on the above principles as design strategies, this research establishes four architectural design works that address environmental issues while creating economic benefits. These four works are subsequently validated for feasibility and persuasiveness through competition operations, aiming to provide a comprehensive thinking strategy and reference for future researchers implementing sustainable design."
