  • 安全監控攝影機此一產品在安全監控系統上有著不可或缺的角色,因為監控攝影機即代表了最重要的“看”的功能。而隨著安全意識日漸高漲,不論是在居家安全,安防建築,智慧城市,設施保全乃至於國土安全等,都缺少不了安全監控攝影機此一產品。
    近年來,科技技術日新月異的快速發展,傳統的安全監控攝影機也有了重大的變革,從“類比式”的影音信號傳輸在“同軸電纜”上轉換成“數位式”的影音訊號並傳輸在“有線或是無線網路”上,另外,在時下最熱門的人工智慧(AI)、邊緣運算(Edge Computing),影像分析,人臉辨識及大數據分析等等,在在都顯現出安全監控攝影機此一產品在結合上述的新技術應用下,對於安全監控產業上的重要性。根據資料統計及預測顯示2017 ~ 2023年期間全球IP視頻監控市場將以約12%的複合年增長率增長。但因種種內外環境衝擊下,該個案公司察覺業績急遽下滑,獲利率與市佔率明顯大不如前,在面對此一嚴峻的挑戰下,此時更需要刻不容緩卯盡全力積極想找到突破口,以期搶佔市佔率並調整產品線佈局,及發揮自身公司之強項,以上是個案公司當務之急。
    本研究論文主要是在探討該個案公司在此安全監控產業中的內部的強項及弱項並考慮外部的機會及威脅,再利用波士頓矩陣(BGC Matrix)分析個案公司的產品佈局,佐以安全監控產業中的關鍵零組件廠商之技術及產品佈局,並歸納市場關注焦點及需求,最後,根據其策略分析結果,以規劃及調整該個案事業單位在未來之產品佈局及研發生產策略,期望達到符合市場需求的產品線,並提升佔市佔率及增加營收之目的。


    The product of surveillance camera has an indispensable role in the security surveillance system, as the surveillance camera represents the most important "see" feature. With the growing awareness of security, whether it is at home security, security buildings, smart cities, facility preservation, and even homeland security, all of applications are need the surveillance cameras.
    In recent years, the technology is growing fast, then the traditional security surveillance camera has also undergone major changes, from “analog image output” on “coaxial cable” transform to “digital image output” on “wired or wireless” internet. In additional, the most popular topics of Artificial Intelligence (AI), edge computing, image analysis, face recognition and big data analysis, etc., all of technology can combined with the security camera to create a lot of application to ensure the safety on people and property. Overall are show the importance of the surveillance camera in the of the security industry. According to statistics and forecasts data, the global IP video surveillance market will grow about 12% of CAGR approximately from 2017 to 2023. However, due to the various from internal and external environmental, the case company noticed a sharp decline in performance, both of the profit and market share were significantly lower than before. To facing those of challenges, and in order to find out a breakthrough. It is the top priority for the case company to increase the market share and adjust product roadmap to leverage the strengths of their own.
    This research paper is mainly to explore the internal strengths, weaknesses and also consider the external opportunities and threats of the case company in this security industry. Then use the BGC Matrix to analyze the product roadmap of the case company. And compare to the technology and product roadmap from key component manufacturers, to summarize market focus and needs. Finally, according to the results of its strategic analysis, plan to adjust the product roadmap, research and development strategy of the individual business unit in the future. In order to provide the new products to fit the market also to meet the company goal for increasing the market share and revenue.
