摘 要
綜觀台灣工業電腦產業,絕大多數屬於中小企業,且新產品研發多走向「Me too」的策略。面對同質產品競爭的市場,許多企業發現光靠工業電腦的高品質、低成本和差異化已經不能滿足客戶需求,並逐漸改變以「速度與彈性」來提升公司的競爭優勢。於是,企業開始導入各相關套裝軟體與服務來輔助,以增加企業的快速反應能力。但中小企業在建構管理資訊系統的初期,常礙於缺乏資訊人才與經費限制,大多購買客製化程度不深的套裝軟體。由於缺乏整合性的考量,導致各系統間無法作一有效的整合與利用,形成管理上的盲點。
本研究以企業應用整合觀點出發,探討個案公司為導入EAI系統前後的成效分析,並以縮短客制化產品出貨時程為題,探討的範圍著重在產品開發管控前後使用EAI 的成效報告。並針對相關人員實際所遭遇的問題作討論,以企業內部既有管理資訊系統資料層為基礎,透MES,Oracel,KM,APS開發管控模組作跨系統的整合,最後擷取重要資訊形成客製化的管理報表。以期能提升企業內部的資訊價值,提供正確及時的管理決策建議,幫助管理者掌握新產品開發時間管控降低23% ,產品開發時程節省10天,公司人力成本降低20% ,MIS 系統維護費用節省25% ,進而提升企業競爭優勢。
Abstract
Most of Taiwan IPC (Industrial Personal Computer) enterprises still remain small and medium-sized, and their new-product development often follow “me too” strategy. In order to avoid the fate of price competition among homogeneous products in the market, lots of IPC companies found out that high-quality, low cost and differentiation cannot meet customers’ need. They started to make good use of “speed and flexibility” strategy to improve their competitiveness. Therefore, some of them began to import the relevant software packages and services to increase their quick response capability.
However, due to lack of information specialists and financial constraints, most of small and medium enterprises purchased the software packages with low customization degree in the beginning of importing Management Information System (MIS). Owing to their failure in integrated planning, inner systems were unable to make an effective integration utilization which led to a “scotoma” in management.
For the above reason, this research applying Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) focuses on analyzing effectiveness of the case company control before its mass production stage in the hope of shortening customized product development schedule. Based on the actual problems and development the control module by Enterprise Application Integration tool in the existing MIS database, we integrated MES, Oracle, KM and APS to offer customization management report and management decision-making reference about new-product development control to the relevant personnel. We apply EAI to shorten the new-product development schedule from R&D to marketing (the period of new-product development drops 23%, the period of product development saves 10 days, manpower cost drops 20% and the cost for MIS maintenance saves 25%) in order to increase opportunities and competitive advantage in the market.
