「科技始終來自人性」,任何新科技或自動化設備的創新研發都是為了要簡化流程、延長(或縮短)作業時間、減少地域影響、增加效率及節省成本支出,以銀行為例,從推廣網路銀行線上作業到自動化作業的ATM提款機、多功能繳費機及VTM遠程視訊櫃員機等,都是在解決或精簡上述服務品項所需作業流程。
本研究主要是利用專家深度訪談,分析數位分行-VTM遠程視訊櫃員機對傳統分行的影響,希望了解:(一)銀行是否接受自動化設備取代人工作業、(二)銀行是否可接受服務費的方式來取代一次性的成本支出。研究結果顯示,在法規鬆綁下,各銀行皆需於規範時間內完成作業事項,各專家亦表示銀行本身願意投入預算建置符合自己核心價值之自動化設備服務,期望做到(一)將傳統分行轉型改造為數位分行、(二)願意投資資金,以進行系統升級與VTM解決方案建置、(三)分行轉型以自動化設備取代臨櫃或分流作業的情形下,對分行同仁皆以規劃妥善安置措施及(四)銀行亦可接受月租服務費的方式來取代過往一次性成本支出的習慣。以上四項結果顯示,將有助於銀行在低成本、政府支持與高層帶動下,快速拓展此一業務發展。
“Technology is always human nature”, and any new technology or automation device is designed to streamline processes, extend (or shorten) operating time, reduce geographic impact, increase efficiency and save money. In the case of banks, from the promotion of online operations for online banks, automated operating areas of ATM machines, multi-functional payment machines to VTM remote video teller machines, they all try to solve or streamline the required operation processes of aforementioned service items.
This study used in-depth expert interviews to analyze the influence of VTM remote ATM on traditional branches, and wants to know: (1) whether the bank accepts the automatic equipment instead of manual operation and (2) whether the bank is acceptable the service fee to replace the one-time cost of expenditure. The results show that under the loosening of regulations, the banks are required to complete the work within the standard time, the experts also mentioned that the bank itself is willing to invest in the budget to build their own core value of automation equipment services, and expect to (1) transforming the traditional branch into a digital branch, (2) willing to invest funds for system upgrades and VTM solution building, (3) in the case which branch transformation that the walk-in services or reroute is replaced by automation equipment, the branch colleagues are planning to properly resettlement, and (4) the banks can also accept the monthly rental service to replace the way the past one-time cost like used to be. These four results will help banks rapidly expand this business with low cost, government support and high-level leadership.
