本論文以個案形式探討冠信電腦股份有限公司轉型雲端伺服器產品線並結合現有精簡電腦(Thin Client)產品線以提供企業次世代雲端資料應用解決方案的開發決策。由於個案公司在原本專注於精簡電腦的教育及中小企業市場受到私有雲與公共雲等各類雲端市場的急速發展,市場逐漸受衝擊而營業額逐漸萎縮。故個案公司經過內部的策略會議及市場的產品趨勢分析,決議建立雲端伺服器產品線並以利用組織轉型整合既有專業的軟體人才庫同步開發伺服器專屬遠端管理軟體,,差異化的商業模式提供給客戶專業化及簡約、容易使用的人性化設計的系統人機介面,並以模組化的產品設計思維,以危機變成轉機,整合現有的資源並重新盤點,深化產品研發,從組織轉型的契機中,再度創造公司的利益。
透過個案可以讓各產業在企業運營中思考轉形及發展新產品時,可以運用組織管理來盤點部門有利的資源,來善加利用並以優化人力資源來增加公司最大的利益,結合人性化設計的思維去研究開發符合市場需求的創新產品,創造企業的最大價值及效益。

This thesis is presented in the form of case study, strategies behind Atrust Company ’s decision to develop server product line are discussed in this case-based dissertation. Atrust Company was in thin client market. As the market, composed of educational facilities and small to middle sized companies, is shrinking due to rapid development of clouding, both private and public. Atrust Company decides, through internal strategic thinking and analysis of market/product trends, to set up new product line for servers, and to develop remote management software exclusively for servers by taking advantage of its existing professional software talent pool. By differentiating its business model, creating simple, handy and humanized human-machine interface, and adopting modularized product design, it is able to transform crisis to opportunity and to create revenues through in-depth product development and recombination of existing resources.
This case study provides business executives with transformation and product development strategies that are on utilization and optimization of resources to create values for companies, as well as humanized design concept that meets market needs.
