地震發生時,對於人民生命及財產構成很大威脅,隨著建築技術進步,結構耐震設計方法也不斷改善與提升,對於結構物本身抗震能力有很大的提升。但對於結構物內部屬於非結構部份,如重要機關內通訊設備、醫院內部醫療設備及維生管線、具精密儀器之電子廠房等等,卻未受到如結構體耐震般的重視。使得許多建築物經地震過後,許多建築物本身結構體並無受到嚴重損害,而內部設備、管線以及部份非結構構件卻受到嚴重之損傷,導致建築物於震後無法立即發揮其原有之設計機能。因此目前美、日及國內將現行耐震設計規範中引入性能設計法之概念,希望建築物之結構體及非結構構件,於震後均能繼續運作,以提高建築物整體耐震性能。
本研究先從非結構構件基本安裝方式及損壞情況加以介紹,再對於非結構構件設計公式之演變加以說明。最後針對近代我國規範、NEHRP及IBC非結構構件設計值加以比較,並介紹管線替代設計方法,及進行醫院建築物現場參訪,以瞭解現今我國於非結構構件施工之現況,提供設計者作為參考,並作為後續研究之依據。
Damages caused by earthquakes could be more substantial in nonstructural components than in the structures. For some cases, important nonstructural components not well designed may be damaged during moderate earthquakes. As a consequence, the functionality of the structures may be severely affected. Past research has emphasized more on the seismic resistance of the structures comparing with that of the nonstructures. This study is a pilot study to summarize the evolution of the seismic design guidelines of nonstructural components. In addition, the state-of-practice of the installation of the nonstructure components in Taiwan is reviewed. It is the aim of this study to induce further development or modification on the current seismic design guidelines for the nonstructures in Taiwan.
This research has first reviewed the damages of nonstructures during the past earthquakes in Taiwan. Then the development of the current design guidelines provided in the Taiwan seismic design code is presented. A comparison for the seismic design force for an example nonstructure using the design guidelines given by the Taiwan seismic design code, NEHRP/FEMA and UBC/IBC was made. Some installation details suggested by various specifications for nonstructural elements were also summarized. The details of installing nonstructural elements are summarized based on a field trip to a being constructed hospital building in Taiwan. From the trip, it is found that, in the current practice of Taiwan, the gravity load is the sole consideration for the nonstructural elements, the seismic load is however not substantially considered.
