Three different film antennas designed for in-car applications are proposed in this thesis. Those antennas are top-loaded monopole which cover the DVB-T UHF band; DVB-T UHF band and DAB L band; and DVB-T UHF band and GPS band, respectively. All antennas have low-profile structures which can be installed on the front windshield of the car along the edge of the A-pillar. Full-wave software simulator HFSS has been applied to evaluate the performance of the antennas. Then, measurements by using a car model in the spherical near-field anechoic chamber have also been performed to verify the designs. Good agreements between measurement and simulations have been obtained.
