  • 以目前國內交通狀況來看,機車代步者為最大之族群,雖然機車事故僅佔全部交通事故的三成,但是全部交通事故中的死亡人數卻有一半是機車騎士。當機車發生事故時,騎士往往受到重傷甚而死亡,造成對事故過程之敘述可能只有汽車駕駛單方面的說法,使得真相可能會被刻意掩蓋。目前各鑑定單位及學術機構已廣泛使用電腦軟體來重建肇事經過,但大部分都是汽車與汽車間的碰撞模式,至於有關機車與汽車間的碰撞則闕如。

    在不考慮塑性變形下,本研究自行利用ADAMS軟體建構人偶、機車以及汽車模型。首先在相同事故下,分別比較兩種機車車型對騎士所造成之傷害,由模擬結果發現,當騎士騎乘街車型機車時,因車身構造的關係,對騎士頭部所造成的撞擊力明顯大於騎乘速克達車型,因此較易產生致命傷害。另外,我們將所建立的模型模擬真實案例時,透過動畫呈現的方式,可幫助事故當事人及鑑定人員具體了解事故發生的各種可能經過。

    本研究結果指出以電腦模型模擬機車事故,不但能對事故之鑑定工作有所裨益,此外還能經由對碰撞過程中之細節剖視,觀察瞭解為何不同的機車外型對騎士所造成的傷害會有所不同,如此可進一步提供未來設計機車安全裝置時之參考。


    With the popularity of automobiles, motorcycle riders still constitute the largest group among domestic traffic motorists in Taiwan. Although motorcycle accidents only accounts for 30% of all traffic accidents, they are responsible for 50% of the overall fatality. When motorcycles accidents happen, riders have high possibilities of being seriously injured or killed. Situations of these would therefore often result in police statements only from the surviving opposite side, usually car drivers. Thus, truth would sometimes be covered up by people with malicious intentions. Nowadays, although computer simulation to aid in traffic accident reconstruction is widely used by many traffic accident appraisal committees and academic institutions, however, most of the cases being simulated only involve with car-to-car collisions. As for car-to-motorcycle accidents, none have been performed yet here in Taiwan.

    With intent to filling in the missing portion, an ADAMS model was constructed to contain essential elements such as dummy riders, motorcycles, and vehicles without considering plastic deformation during collision. Two major types of motorcycles were included to differentiate accident possibilities in the same scenario. Results from simulation indicated that impact forces to the riders’ heads are considerably greater with a stand-type than with a scooter-type one and thus would often result in fatal injuries. When the computer model was applied to real accident cases, different possibilities can be displayed through animation to help the individuals involved and the investigators analyze and identify the most likely scenario happened.

    Results from this study showed that computer simulation on traffic accidents involved with motorcycles not only is very helpful to the traffic accident reconstruction but also offers valuable information to the design of motorcycles as far as how to implement understandings to lessen serious injuries of motorcycle riders through modification of vehicle structures or installation of proper safety devices.
