近年來國際間環保意識高漲，迫使環保要求跨越至產品面，而以往類似環保標章「低污染、省資源、可回收」的自發性訴求，亦開始轉變為各跨國企業的採購規範標準，甚至在環保觀念較先進的國家，其政府亦已訂定相關規範，藉由綠色採購提倡環境績效良好的產品。面對去年八月歐盟議會要求歐盟成員RoHS(Restriction of Hazardous Substances) 、WEEE(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)與Eup(Energy Using Products）參項指令轉換為各國法令後，掀起了全球的綠色產品浪潮，未來綠色產品及其設計相關之週邊要求，對國內產業必定產生重大的影響性。
因此歐盟的規定，預期對我國相關產業將造成很大衝擊，會使部份我國廠商訂單受到影響，廠商應及早因應，企業為了因應環境保護潮流趨勢所延伸的各類環保要求，紛紛推行環境管理系統機制，透過制度的建立與技術的改良，來達成消費者的要求，而加速了綠色企業模式發展。
本研究所運用的研究策略為個案研究法，瞭解電子產業之綠色產品管理系統實行現況，包括：
1.在不同供應鏈位置，產品管理策略作法是否不同？
2.下游製造廠如何進行綠色供應商管理？
3.各公司面臨綠色產品要求的主要困難為何？

In the recent years, the increasing worldwide environmental consciousness has enforced the authorities to legalize the environmental protection requirements of products to meet such measures. Nevertheless, the spontaneous preference to “environment-friendly, resource saving, recycling” have also become the standard purchasing policies for the majority of the international enterprises. In addition, authorities with advanced environmental awareness have established relative standards and policies in order to advocate purchasing green and environment-friendly products.
As we know that last Aug. the European Parliament commanded its members to put the three Acts, RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) , WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), and EUP (Energy Using Products), into practice, and enforced them to become the national laws in these countries, the entire concepts of green products have been globalized to such level that green products and the design relative requirements will certainly influence the domestic industries.
Therefore, the foreseeable impacts due to EP’s regulations will certainly affect the domestic industries and the local business trends. Vendors and suppliers must take necessary actions in advance because the enterprises have started establishing and implementing various environmental control systems in order to survive in the tendency of environmental protection. By means of the establishment of systems and the development of technology, companies not only satisfy their consumers’ demand, but also accelerate the growth of green enterprises at a remarkable rate.
The strategy applied in this research topic is the strategy called “case study”, and the main purpose is to comprehend the current management system of green products in the field of electronics industry. The following topics will be discussed.
1.Does the enterprise’s position in the supply chain affect its product management strategies?
2.How does a supplier or subcontractor implement “green supplier” management?
3.What are the major difficulties that all the companies encounter as they purchasing or producing green products?
