經過近幾年來的開發,Pro/ENGINEER標準零件庫系統已相當成熟,並擁有完善的使用者操作介面及完整的資料庫架構,但在零件庫的資料新增方面,尚需靠人工逐項輸入成資料庫格式,由於資料庫格式相當嚴謹,使得資料庫的新增非常不易且耗費時間。
本論文針對Pro/ENGINEER標準零件庫之新零件上線流程進行改善,透過開發導引系統,將簡易的零件規格Excel檔案轉換為SQL資料庫所規定的格式,並使不具程式背景的管理員也能依據導引介面的指示,來管理零件庫選單與SQL資料庫,進而達到資料新增快速化與零件庫管理簡單化之目的。另外,目前的標準零件庫系統缺乏零件3D預覽功能,因此本研究結合VRML技術來達到網頁3D預覽零件,讓使用者能隨需求改變3D 零件的視角,如平移、旋轉、放大/縮小等。
Over the past few years, Pro/ENGINEER Standard Parts Library with well-established user interface and working database architecture was successfully developed. The current operation of adding parts’ data to the library is completely dependent on manual inputs. It is a tedious and time-consuming task due to the strict requirements of database format. This thesis work attempts to improve the current operation of data accumulation by developing a guiding system which accepts part specifications in simple Excel format as inputs and automatically converts them to formats fulfilling the requirements set by the SQL database system. By using the guiding system, a library administrator can easily add mechanical parts data without the need of revising or developing any programming codes. In addition, the VRML technique is applied to add the function of viewing 3D models dynamically on a web page, e.g. panning, rotating and zooming in/out.
