本論文主要研製一台主僕式降壓型功率因數修正器,採用IC L6561做控制電路,搭配固定截止時間機制,使電路操作於連續導通模式。
L6561為峰值電流模式控制,具有響應快速等特點,做為主僕式架構的控制電路不僅簡單,輸出電壓漣波小,輸入電流諧波也較低。雙相並聯的功率元件規格可以縮小,功率密度與輸出功率也可大為提高。搭配固定截止時間機制,讓電路在重載時操作於連續導通模式,降低電路導通損耗並改善電路電氣特性。不同於一般升壓架構,降壓型功率因數修正器的輸出電解電容可以選用較低值,在後級DC-DC轉換器設計上也具有更多選擇性。本論文詳細分析及討論主僕式降壓型功率因數修正器的操作原理與設計考量,實驗結果證明了此電路的可行性。
The purpose of this thesis is to study and implement a master-slave buck converter with power factor correction function. The proposed converter is controlled by an IC L6561, which helps simplify the circuit and make the converter to be operated in continuous conduction mode with a fixed off-time mechanism.
L6561 is used for peak current mode control, which provides a faster response, a simple control technique in master-slave topology, lower output ripple voltage, and lower input current harmonic distortion. In addition, the dimensions of power components can be smaller; therefore, the power density can be higher. Under heavier loads, the presented converter can be operated in CCM with the fixed turn-off time. This helps reduce conduction losses and improve the performance of the converter. Compared with other general boost converters, a buck converter requires smaller electrolyte capacitors at the output. It contributes to have more choices in the DC/DC converter design. The operation principle and design steps of a master-slave buck converter are analyzed and discussed in this thesis. Experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed converter.
