當代建築風格鞋履是二十世紀後誕生的當代新鞋樣風格，建築與時尚也一直有著緊密的交流，鞋款上，從原理、構造、樣式、風格乃至技術等的大量互換借用，已相當普遍，這其中也隱含著設計師跨領域以及其所激盪出的創意思維。

將建築結構風格引進鞋履設計不單只是進行表面上的裝飾，甚至連同鞋身結構也一併納入設計的考量，並應用跨領域知識來輔佐設計，除了提高鞋身結構的變化性之外也兼顧穿戴時的安全與舒適。近幾年因為新式建築風格和創新製造科技引進製鞋產業，使得鞋履結構出現根本性的大革命，似乎鞋子已不再是鞋子的形象，是雕塑、也可以是藝術品的呈現。

本創作以此理念為前提，將探討近代與當代建築風格鞋履的發展，針對當代建築風格鞋履提出現有案例分析，以修改自現代主義風格的建築準則，建立當代建築風格鞋履準則，以此準則進行案例評估並證明當代建築和鞋履設計造形與結構之間的關係和共同點，然後從分析當中歸納出設計原則和要點，接著進行概念發想設計提案，並以實際參與阿瘦皮鞋─金履獎創意大賽來驗證當代建築風格概念鞋履的可行性，以期最終能落實跨領域思維實踐在鞋履設計的目標和期待。

The new footwear style of contemporary architectural is started from the twenty-first century, at this time, architecture and fashion has a close exchanges and contacts. It’s quite common that the shoes manufacture borrow a lot of techniques from architectural areas including principle, structure, style and technology. It also implies a straddling behavior that makes people bring out the creative thinking.

Using the architectural style of the structure in footwear design is not only for decoration on the surface, but also the body of the shoe structure design be incorporated into the considerations. In addition to improving the structure of variability of the shoe, the safety and comfort also take into account. In recent years, due to the contemporary architecture style and innovative manufacturing technology be introduced in footwear design industry, there is a fundamental revolution in the structure of the shoe, it seems that the shoe is no longer a shoe, it could be a sculpture, also could be presented as art.

The concept of this creation is to explore the development of modern and contemporary architectural styles of footwear, and do some famous case studies, and create “Contemporary Architectural Style Footwear Design Trends for Contemporary Architectural Style Footwear” which modified originally from the “Modernist Style Building Guidelines”. I will use this design trends in evaluating and proving the similarities of the shape and structure between contemporary architecture and the footwear, then summarize the design principles and elements from the analysis, followed are concept design proposals and competitions participation. Eventually I want to verify the feasibility of using the concept of contemporary architectural style in footwear design.
