網際網路普及風行後,原本窄頻使用已不能滿足大眾需求,寬頻應用大量出現且傳輸資料型態的多元化,使用者對頻寬的要求愈加提高,寬頻網路已成為大眾追逐網路生活的必備工具。
利用既有雙絞線銅纜網路,來提供低成本、寬頻且具高速傳輸能力之各種技術乃應運而生。就台灣國內而言,ADSL客戶數至今已超過400萬,仍持續增加中,目前業界、學界及研究單位等對雙絞線銅纜網路效能之提昇,仍然努力研究中。而xDSL設備係以雙絞線銅纜網路為其傳輸媒介,由於各種設備之線路傳輸距離與使用頻寬不同,使得其產生線路衰減與串音干擾不同,以致影響其效能。
本研究將藉由實驗與查測模擬的結果,進行性能分析比較,以確知在雙絞線銅纜中,因線路距離變長,將使線路衰減變大而導致傳輸頻寬受限。基此,如何在既有的雙絞線銅纜網路上,運用各種等化器、調變以及編碼技術,以提高通道容量及提升其傳輸能力;對於偏遠地區因線路距離太長而無法提供寬頻網路的困境,期盼於本論文研討分析後能夠幫助找出一些具體可行且品質可靠的解決方案。
It is not satisfied for people to do anything in narrowband network when Internet would become popular. A lot of applications are developed in broadband base and various transmission data type is required, subscribers need more high speed to deliver anything and high bandwidth is more required. So it would become necessary tool for people to use broadband network.
Various technical is developed to support lower cost, high speed and broadband in existing twisted pair copper line. In Taiwan, ADSL subscribers are more than 4 million, and increasing continually. In order to support high performance in twisted pair copper line, business, education, research still work hard. Moreover, twisted pair copper line is used as a transmission media in xDSL equipment, when transmission distance in different equipments and various broadband are different, there are different in attenuation and crosstalk, which affect transmission quality.
ADSL is a distance sensitive technology. As the connection length increase, the bandwidth is limited. The purpose of this paper is to analysis and compare phenomenon by experiment and simulation.
Therefore, how to use various kinds of equalized, modulation and coding technical to increase transmission ability and channel capability on twisted pair copper line. Especially, in far area where ADSL can not provide service is a big problem, this paper expects to find solution and reliable quality after study and analysis.
