本論文的目的使用ZigBee的技術,應用於手持式PDA裝置無線感測器之研究,並且透過ZigBee技術可建構出無線感測網路(WSN)。ZigBee建構在IEEE 802.15.42的標準上,具有低耗電、低系統資源、良好的網路定址能力等優點。
硬體方面我們使用以ARM920T為核心的s3c2443 CPU,採用擎亞公司所開發的C343開發版當作主要的研究平台。ZigBee無線模組是採用廣登公司所開發的ZigBee Turnkey System 開發套件來設計我們的感測平台。
ZigBee Turnkey System 基本功能為監控和控制,不同的應用可以搭配不同的感測器(Sensor)。軟體方面,我們利用windows CE來設計所需的圖形介面,能清楚的把我們所想知道的感測值展現出來,並且設計串列埠驅動程式,以提供給ZigBee模組執行Command所需要的串列通訊平台。
The objective of this thesis is to research the application of ZigBee technology in portable PDA device. By using ZigBee technology to develop a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), ZigBee becomes a Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN). Due to the fact that ZigBee was developed under the IEEE 802.15.4 specifications, it features advantages as high addressing capability, low power consumption.
In the case of hardware, we use the ARM920T with s3c2443 CPU, and use the C343 development board as the main research platform. ZigBee wireless module is a Turnkey solution made by QuadRep company for the purpose of platform usage. It’s basic function are monitoring and control.
In the case of software, we design the GUI, serial port device driver. The sensor value can thus be transmitted by this serial communication platform.
