在室內設計裡，委託業主跟設計師的溝通雖然利用數位圖像化能解決視覺的問題，但是常常因為業主自身對於風格的不確定導致最後完工結果的不愉快，因此能夠直接洞悉業主自身的喜好而下判斷進而達到雙方共識是很方便的輔助。而人的大腦一直是科學家難以探知的領域，腦波也能分析探討不同的人格特質。近年來腦電圖(EEG)應用在各領域及現實生活中的相關研究從治療、學習到遊戲等方面也越見顯學。本研究樣本為四部室內設計風格之動畫影片，並以腦波評測系統來進行受測者觀看影片之腦波反應，透過較為精準的生理狀態來分析處於各風格的狀態，並發掘受測者最為放鬆之層面，來分析出放鬆度最高，壓力度最低之室內風格樣式。最後本研究利用腦波儀器來檢測出受測者的腦波放鬆度最高之風格樣式跟個人特質的關聯性，並且針對結果使用統計分析方法如卡方檢定、費雪精確性檢定及單因子變異數分析來加以討論及分析。在實驗統計分析結果中，我們發現「性別跟年齡的差異性以及放鬆度的高低」對於室內設計風格喜好沒有顯著的差異，「職業跟月收入及教育程度的差異性」對於室內設計風格喜好則有顯著的差異。不過室內設計風格種類甚多，因此本研究結果可能無法套用研究者所提出研究以外的室內設計風格，因此若需要明確且確實判斷所有室內設計的風格所反應出來的影響，可能還需要增加多樣性的風格樣本來做研究。

Designers and clients may communicate with digital graphing to solve visual issues in interior design. However, clients’ uncertain preference of design style usually causes disaccord after design process ends. Therefore, to comprehend clients’ preference directly with efficient judgment and reach consensus will help conveniently. While human brain has been a difficult realm for scientists to explore. Cerebral waves may also serve in analyzing different personality traits. In recent years, electroencephalogram (EEG) has been applied in various fields and real life. Relevant studies appear actively in therapy, learning and computer games etc. This study samples four animation films of interior design style. Cerebral wave’s evaluation system is adopted to detect examinees’ brainwave reaction under various design style thru more precise physiological condition. The examinees’ most relaxed latitude is explored to study the interior design style with the highest relaxation and the least pressure.Finally, this study uses electroencephalogram device to exam the association between the design style of examinees’ most relaxed brainwave and personality traits. The result is discussed and analyzed by statistical methods like Pearson Chi-Square, Fisher exact test and one-way ANOVA test. The findings show no significant variance of interior design style in age difference and level of relaxation while significant variance lies in variance of profession, monthly income and educational level.Nevertheless, there are more other interior design styles other than the ones presented by this study. Therefore, the study finding might not be applicable to other style. There should be more precise and solid judgment of the effect reflected by all interior design styles supported by further study of more versatile samples in styles.
