電子企業的主要應用範圍涵蓋了企業與企業關係人間透過企業內網路、企業外網路、及網際網路，結合重要的企業情報、知識系統與其供應商、客戶、經銷商、內部員工與相關合作夥伴緊密結合，藉網路技術的運用，改變原有企業的流程。
整廠統包工程對營建業來說涵蓋範圍最廣，涉及利害關係人最多，執行的複雜度也是最高的工程型態。
本研究以個案研究方式，探討統包商將客製化、套裝軟體作有效結合透過分門別類的管理系統進行串連運用並整合，在執行統包工程專案時藉由專案工程整合系統，在專案啟始、執行、監控、結案等階段各個不同功能的系統能提供那些服務。
個案公司透過專案工程整合系統的導入流程，使得該集團中其他關係企業能在後續引進時之參考。同時本論文的研究成果也可提供給其他營建工程總承包公司作為引進時之參考。

The main applications of electronic business cover the areas of information and activities exchange involving enterprise related parties through the use of internet inside or outside corporate network by combining important business intelligence, knowledge systems and the information and activities of its suppliers, customers, dealers, employees and related internal partners to change and better the original business process.
Turn key solution for construction industry usually involves the most complicated technical processes and requires sophisticated inter-personal skills to get the job done.
In this thesis, a case study approach was proposed to explore a better solution for turnkey contractors. This approach involves evaluating customization and effective combination of different software packages to be used for different industry categories or management systems. The key to the success of the solution will lie on the effectiveness of the integration of the software packages to a turnkey engineering project. The evaluation procedure of the effectiveness of the process needs to start from the beginning to the end and closely monitored by project engineers.
Through the case studies and analyses of the effectiveness of software integration and implementation to the turnkey contractors, subsequent project managers can learn from these cases and avoid any previous mistakes.
