通訊產品開發過程中,由於相關研發技術成長變化速度越來越快,在企業內部建置一平台系統來執行與管控知識技術與跨功能團隊合作絕對是有其必要性與重要性。C公司即是基於這種思維,建置了以Knowledge Management及線上作業模式為架構之作業平台PCBE(Printed Circuit Board Electrical)系統,希望能藉此系統提供各部門之資源共享與資料搜尋,簡化跨功能部門技術聯繫之程序,並且提供研發主管線上即時管控之功能,來提升企業整體研發之績效。本研究旨在透過文獻分析研究,討論跨功能研發團隊如何將知識整合運用,並透過個案C公司實際運作經歷,探討設計跨功能團隊技術知識平台的建立要素。經過文獻的分析及檢討PCBE之優劣點後,我們發現PCBE工作流程系統化,不僅提供各功能部門橫向串連,並且可作為知識管理平台,讓資源整合與分享,降低研發時間與成本,確實提供C公司進行專案研發活動時跨功能研發團隊設計知識管理的功能。但要作為通訊產業具跨功能團隊之技術知識作業平台仍有需改進的地方,而本研究結論也認為,如以PCBE作為主要架構,經過幾項功能改進與變化,將可節省系統開發成本與時間,並達到作為通訊產業跨功能團隊技術知識作業平台之需求。
Because of the fast development in the related technologies, to establish a platform for cross-functional R&D teams is necessary in manufacturing communication products with marketing advantage. PCBE(Printed Circuit Board Electrical), an operation platform with knowledge management and on-line managing functions, was established by C Company to serve as an operation platform and to share in knowledge among different divisions. Furthermore, PCBE also provides the functions for divisions or project managers to control and manage the project process on-line. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the functions of PCBE by means of 2-year running experience in C Company and to investigate how to establish an effective cross-functional operation platform based on the PCBE framework. The results showed that the efficacy of R&D in C Company was significantly promoted by PCBE since it is very useful and beneficial for the R&D department in designing and producing new communication products not only in saving developing time and cost but also in providing technologies sharing and searching. The result of this study also indicated that the PCBE framework can be modified or expanded to further reduce the time and cost in designing and producing a new communication product for a R&D department in the communication industry.
