本論文提出二款由軟板製作之內嵌式數位電視天線,第一款天線為台灣數位電視內嵌式,此天線是採用迴式天線結構,並安裝於通用串列傳輸器之側面,其面積僅為5X131mm2。為增加天線之有效電流路徑,本設計採用極細且多數之曲折繞線及次迴設計,以滿足UHF頻帶之天線接收需求。第二款天線為全頻帶數位電視內嵌式天線,該天線是採用單極天線結構,並安置於通用串列傳輸器三面內牆,該天線符合全球數位電視頻帶,即470~860MHz,本論文利用返回損失、穿透損失、輻射場型及數位電視實際訊號分別評估上述兩款天線之特性,並獲得相當良好之結論。
This thesis develops two embedded antennas for digital TV applications. The antennas are fabricated by flexible printed circuit boards. The first antenna, which is designed for Taiwan DTV band (533MHz~593MHz), is based on loop structure. By utilizing multiple meandered lines with sub-loops, the antenna can effectively increase its electric length and may be embedded into a USB dongle. The design merely occupies a small area of 5*131mm2. The second antenna is designed for the whole DTV band worldwide. The antenna is based on monopole structure and composed of multiple resonant meandered monopoles. By using the three sidewalls of a USB dongle, the antenna demonstrates an impedance bandwidth with return loss better than 5dB from 470 to 870MHz. In this thesis, the antenna designs are evaluated in terms of the return losses, transmission losses, radiation patterns as well as an actual receiving capability test with a DTV signal generator. The experimental results sustain the superior performance of the proposed antennas.
