捨棄式圓鋸片係由多個捨棄式刃片以環形分佈於一鎖刀盤上,可應用於各種板材、塊材或棒材的切割工作。鋸片組裝後之徑向尺寸與軸向偏擺為影響加工件表面品質與刃片壽命的關鍵因素。本研究嘗試開發一套精度檢測系統,以檢測捨棄式圓鋸片之關鍵幾何外型。針對圓鋸片徑向尺寸之變異,研究中採用非接觸式光學檢測模組先對刀刃片之局部進行取像,而後透過影像處理方法度量每一刀刃之徑向尺寸的相對偏差量。至於鋸片之軸向可能的偏轉,本研究採用接觸式數位量錶直接讀取在特定徑向位置下的軸向圓偏擺度。開發完成的檢測系統整合了機構模組、電控驅動模組、機器視覺模組及數位式量錶等硬體設備,並藉由個人電腦結合本研究所撰寫之影像處理、訊號處理及人機介面等軟體程式成為一套智慧型的量測工具。透過若干圓鋸片之樣品的量測,結果顯示此系統的重複性與再現性均符合實用需求。
Circular saw blades with insertable teeth can be applied to cut various types of plates, blocks and rods. A blade consists of a disk-type tool holder on which insertable saw teeth are positioned radially outwardly. Dimension deviations in radial direction and axial run-out are key factors to the quality as well as the tool life of those saw blades.
This study has successfully developed an inspection system to examine the critical geometry of saw blades. A non-contact optical inspection module is used to measure the variations of blade’s radial dimensions. Relative deviations are calculated through an evaluation processing based on local images of saw teeth. In order to examine the axial run-out of a blade, a digital indicator is equipped to measure the heights of the blade continuously as the holder rotates around its axis. The hardware of the inspection system includes mechanism module, electrical controlling and driving module, machine vision module and the digital indicator. A friendly human-machine interface connecting with image processing programs and signal processing programs is coded and can be executed on a personal computer. Based on the measuring data obtained from individual inspectors, the inspection system developed by this work shows a good repeatability and reproducibility.
