This study aims to investigate the employment outcomes and career prospects of graduates in Business Administration (BA) and Information Technology (IT) within the information industry. Utilizing web scraping techniques in Python, the study analyzes a vast array of job data from Taiwan's 104 Human Bank website. Employing various data analysis methods such as Clustering Analysis, Data Mining, and word frequency analysis, the study reveals significant trends in the job market.
The research identifies notable differences in the job distribution of BA and IT graduates within the information industry. BA graduates are predominantly found in specific sectors like computer software services, whereas IT graduates are dispersed across a broader range of industries. Significantly, the role of software engineers emerges as a primary occupation for both groups, underscoring the integration of technical and business domains. The study also highlights a high demand for diverse technical skills in the current market, particularly in web development and programming.
Furthermore, the research emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary skills in today's job market, especially technical proficiencies in the technology sector. Graduates without specific academic backgrounds are highly sought after in information software system roles, underscoring the value of cross-disciplinary skills. The study suggests that educational institutions and training providers should adjust their curricula and skill training to align with market demands, especially in the fields of Business Management and Information Technology.
In summary, this study provides valuable insights and guidance for employers in the information industry, educational institutions, and graduates seeking employment in this field. By analyzing current employment trends and skill demands, the study contributes to a deeper understanding of career planning and educational strategies.
