國內在各快速公路相繼完工通車形成快速公路路網後,橋面版鋪面佔道路鋪面面積比例已大幅提高,但國內許多橋面版鋪面均已超過使用年限,每年須分配龐大經費於橋面版鋪面之改善及維護,囿於養護經費不足及施工時交通維持不易,同時基於國內天然砂石有限,因此在未來橋面版鋪面之維護顯得特別重要。本研究擬針對係針對齡期23年且已產生嚴重老化之大漢橋橋面版鋪面,採用噴灑封層材料進行養護,並探討噴灑前與噴灑後7天及180天之鋪面績效改善狀況。
依據現地檢測結果顯示;橋面版鋪面經過噴灑封層材料後抗滑性略微降低,但降低範圍仍符合規範要求,且橋面版鋪面噴霧封層處理後平均紋理深度降低,表示噴霧封層材料具有填補橋面版鋪面舊有破損及裂縫之功能。試驗室試驗結果顯示;將現地之鑚心試體所回收之瀝青作比較發現橋面版鋪面噴灑後7天及180天之黏滯度明顯比噴灑前降低且針入度亦有顯著改善,表示噴霧封層處理具有活化面層材料之功能。依據統計分析結果顯示;橋面版鋪面在噴灑前與噴灑後鋪面績效具有顯著差異,由此推論橋面版鋪面採用噴霧封層鋪面材料可改善橋面版鋪面之服務績效。
The ratio of the bridge deck pavement area has largely increased since the expressways were established and formed a network. But many bridge deck pavements have been over the life expectancy, the government has to allocate much budgets for the improvement and maintenance of the bridge deck pavement. Considering the problems of budget shortage, difficult construction traffic management and the limited gravel source in Taiwan, the issue of the maintenance and the road life expectancy extension are more and more important. To adopt fog seal as preventive maintenance for the bridge deck pavement has became a major trend. The study took the 23-year-old bridge deck of Da Han Bridge as an example. The fog seal material was adopted for maintenance. It compared the improvements of bridge deck after 7 days and 180 days.
Field investigation results indicate that skid resistance is slightly lower after the fog sealing on the bridge deck but it’s still with the required range. The average depth of the bridge deck surface texture was lower which means the fog sealing materials can fix the existed breakage and cleavages of the bridge deck. The laboratory test results show that the viscosity of on site cores samples taken 7 days and 180 days after the fog sealing was reduced and the penetration had remarkable improvement. This meant that the fog sealing processing can activate the materials of the deck layer. Based on the
field investigation and laboratory testing results, we found that bridge deck had remarkable difference on the pavement performance. Therefore, the study concluded that the adoption of fog sealing on the bridge deck pavement maintenance will improve the service performance of the deck pavement.
