In this study, we synthesize a series of new molecules with extended conjugation system, containing 1,4-Di(thien-2-yl)naphthalene skeleton and substituent with π- conjugation system. Measuring the absorption and fluorescence spectrum, extinction coefficient, fluorescence quantum yield by using ultraviolet spectrometer and fluorescence spectrometer. Combine the photophysical properties and computation of the molecules to discuss the effect of molecular structure on π-conjugation improvement, absorption and fluorescence spectrum red-shift.
