本文個案描述高科技3C產品的研發過程中，因應專案產品創新功能的需求，專案主管在老闆的決策要求下，選擇了一家剛成立沒多久的新供應商，而在廠商無生產經驗的狀況下，該如何在有限的時間與資源下，同時能顧及產品的品質與產品生產出貨時程，讓專案能順利進行與完成。

現代高科技3C產品已漸漸成為人們生活中的一部份無可缺少，但在市場的競爭下，要如何創新產品，進而吸引消費者的購買，已是所有製造商的頭痛問題。但在創新的議題後面，該如何針對新功能的導入在所有決策中做好管理？這將是重要的課題。

在決策一項新功能放入進新產品之後，將面對的是供應商的選擇與評估，供應商的能力將決定產品的品質與是否能準時出貨。而無論在供應商的選擇決策，或是產品研發過程中的決策，都可能遇到一些問題狀況，那該如何針對問題做好風險管理？這些問題狀況可能來自於決策中之材料的選用、設計的變更、生產製程的管理或是廠商能力不足等，都將影響整個專案成功與否。

This case describes the development of high-tech 3C products. In response to the demand for innovative functions of the project, the project manager selected a new supplier that was not established for a long time, which was decided by the boss. But in the absence of production experience, how to make the project smooth and complete under the limit of time and resources.

After making a new function into a product, it will face the supplier's choice and evaluation. The supplier's ability will determine the quality of the product and whether it can be shipped on time. Regardless of whether the supplier's decision-making or the decision-making during product development, may encounter some problems, so how to manage risk? The status of these problems may come from the selection of materials in all decisions, the design changes, the management of the production process or the lack of vendor capabilities, will all affect the success of the entire project.
