萬物連網(Internet of Everything, IOE)與智慧化環境已是未來趨勢,伺服器在其中扮演著極為重視的角色。 在白牌伺服器的低價競爭下,品牌伺服器廠商正面臨生存危機,企業營運以及其商業模式的轉型至關重要。
品牌伺服器廠商應該要能夠檢視公司擁有的核心能力及特殊的資源,依據未來的趨勢將其有效率的運用在產品差異化策略中,與白牌伺服器做出明顯的區隔,提供品牌商在客戶心中應有的價值主張,創造符合客戶需求且物超所值的產品及服務。
本研究以個案H公司為例,運用策略分工具來協助企業分析大環境的機會與威脅、內部的優劣勢、產業競爭張力、競爭策略與執行計畫。
Internet of Everything (IOE) and intelligent environment are the future trend, and servers play a very important role in it. With the low-cost competition from white-box servers, branded server company are facing an existential Challenge. The transformation of the way they do business, and their business models are critical importance for their future success.
Branded server company should regularly review their core competencies and special resources and use them efficiently in their product differentiation strategy according to the future trend. To make differentiation with white-box servers, provide valuable customer value proposition is what brand company should focus on. It needs to have clear market segmentation and create differentiated products and services what can exceed customer expectation.
This study uses Case H as an example. Use strategic analysis tools to analyze the opportunities and threats from general environment and competitive tensions in the industry. Based on the company strengths and weaknesses and above external environment analysis, to help H company develop product competitive strategies and execution plans.
