本設計論文總共包含三件競賽作品，發展背景參考自聯合國永續發展目標（SDGs）的第十一項目標：「建構具包容、安全、韌性及永續特質的城市與鄉村」，探討的議題內容涵蓋可負擔的住宅社區、永續交通運輸系統、對抗極端氣候的韌性城市規劃、公平與具有包容性的都市社區。作品分別為港口的總體規劃案、戰後城市的重建規劃與對抗極端氣候的韌性城市設計。

　　第一件作品主要在探討如何重建現有的城市港口空間。高密度混合使用的城市規劃與不同族群混和的住宅社區空間，與全新建設的公共交通網路系統，最後加上適當的社區參與，以打造一個公平、永續的都市社區。

　　第二件作品主要在探討如何重建戰後的城市。此項目以可快速建造、可拆卸的預製化住房單元打造超高層住宅大樓。依據重建工作的進展，建築單元可以自由調整，以滿足都市需求。此項目旨在重建戰後的社會結構與文化景觀，並打造出獨特的戰爭紀念碑與城市社區。

　　第三件作品主要在探討應對全球極端氣候議題的都市更新策略。此項目打造了新的城市基礎排水設施，並將施工開挖過程中的土壤循環使用製作成建築材料，大量做為都市更新的住宅建築使用。此項目旨在使城市可以面對未來的極端氣候威脅，並以階段性的時間規劃逐步打造出韌性城市。

SUMMARY

In this graduate thesis, a total of three projects from international architectural competitions are included. The background of the design projects is based on goal 11 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Make Cities and Human Settlements Inclusive, Safe, Resilient, and Sustainable. The design projects address issues such as affordable residential housing, sustainable transportation systems, resilient urban planning to extreme weather, and equitable and inclusive urban communities. The projects are the master plan for the port, the plan for city reconstruction after the war, and the resilient urban design against extreme weather.

INTRODUCTION

The first project mainly focuses on how to rebuild the existing urban port space. Through creating high-density mixed-use urban areas, a new public transportation network, linear coastal parks for public use, and public spaces customized by citizens. New urban planning and design in collaboration with professionals, local governments, and citizens will be implemented here. This project aims to create a sustainable urban community that serves the public interest.

The second project focuses on how to rebuild the post-war city. This project builds a super high-rise residential building with fast-build, detachable prefabricated housing units. Depending on the progress of the reconstruction work, the building units can be freely adjusted to meet urban needs. This project aims to rebuild the post-war social structure and cultural landscape, creating a unique war memorial and urban community.

The third project mainly focuses on proposing urban renewal strategies to deal with global extreme climate issues. This project built a new underground floodwater diversion facility and recycled the soil during the construction excavation process into building materials, which are widely used as residential buildings for urban renewal. This project aims to enable the city to face the threat of extreme climate in the future, and gradually build a resilient city with a phased time plan.
