台灣認購售權證之業務開放至今已有10年以上,但隨著時空之演變,不管是法令亦或是其他相關之因素,造成發行人之收益大幅下滑,無論是競爭對手之增加,發行標的選擇性變多,避險工具之改變,相關競爭之商品問市,產品之創新,均可能造成影響獲利之原因。
本研究係以國內近10年來之具代表性發行標的為主要研究對象,探討依不同之避險調整及不同之避險限制,如何在上述多重威脅下,透過優質之避險策略,以提高發行人之獲利。研究主題包括:
1. 探討過去10年台灣認購售權證之發展概況,以了解發行商品之變化,發行標的相關法令改變之影響,業務上之稅制問題,發行人及發行標的增加,做一簡略之介紹說明。
2. 依歷年發行法規之演進,針對發行人影響之差異分析,做一通盤之解說。
3. 根據過去重大個案,探討發行人避險及市場流動性之影響,以作為日後市場再發生同類情形時因應之參考。
4. 分析國內外發行人之避險方式及其法規限制之概況。
5. 依據台灣過去10年內較具代表性之發行標的,取其民國88年後之歷史股價、除權息之資料,以年初為發行日期,存續期間均為一年,價平發行,波動率均加碼15%之認購權證當做基礎假設條件,進行模擬動態避險,以試算其未來存續期間之損益變化及損益標準差,最後再依此二項結果資料進行排名評分,以取得一最佳之避險策略。
從20個標的證券研究,分析比較不同避險調整及避險限制之結果,本研究之發現有:
1. 以中立避險調整規範時,股價上下變動5%為避險限制,其獲利較佳且風險相對低。
2. 以上下限避險調整規範時,高波率期間或個股以股價上下變動5%為避險限制,低波率期間或個股以中立部位上下變動2倍gamma為避險限制,其獲利較佳且風險相對低。
3. 整體分數排名以中立避險調整規範時,以股價上下變動5%為避險限制為最佳。
4. 本研究分析之避險策略應可以做為認購售權證發行人之避險參考。
