This study adopted three delineation methods (price correlation, ARDL bounds test and price-ratio unit root test) and used 12 counties’ monthly room rates to delineate for Taiwan international tourist hotel market. The main findings of the study are presented as follows: (1) take the whole country as delineation object, "Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Yilan and Hualien," the six counties constitute same market; (2) take north, central, south and east, the four geographic regions as defined object respectively, in central and southern regions, "Taichung, Nantou, Chiayi, Tainan and Kaohsiung," the five counties constitute same market and in the eastern region, "Hualien’ and ‘Taitung" constitute same market. In conclusion, this study suggests Taiwan international tourist hotels constitute inter-regional markets, and it seems more likely that the hotels belonging one market if their location are much close.
