In this research, the inaction inertia effect caused by different types of consumers is discussed. The experiment 1 concludes that tightwads easily show inaction inertia than spendthrifts. The experiment 2, takes the different condition of attraction, the major factor of inaction inertia, as the moderate variable. It concludes that inaction inertia of tightwads and spendthrifts is significant different only when the large dif-ference condition of attraction. Besides, self-control mediate inaction inertia of dif-ferent types of consumers, which verifies self-control being mediate variable of this research in experiment 3. Finally, this research provides evidences to prove the interac-tion of purchase intention between types of consumers and product types (vice vs. virtue). In experiment 4, inaction inertia is affected by different product types and consumer types. This research expends the research domain of inaction inertia, person-ality traits. Furthermore, the management implication and future works are also given.
