This study aims to investigate the relationships among technology readiness, information system quality and project management effectiveness. It is a survey research that targets employees of organizations in the construction and architecture industries located in the northern, central and southern regions of Taiwan (valid return rate: 45.42%;N=545), utilizing a survey questionnaire as the data collection instrument to test the relationship among the three dimensions. Data were analyzed by employing descriptive statistics, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, as well as structural equation modeling.
The results indicated that: (1) Both technology readiness and information system quality have demonstrated a positive and significant effect on project management effectiveness; (2) Information system quality significantly moderates the effect of technology readiness on project management effectiveness; (3) The structural equation model of the proposed model was able to explain the observed data based on its overall model goodness-of-fit evaluation.
