有些大眾交通工具等候大廳之公共座位，選擇以現成並排式座椅或是將座位隨意配置在空間中，並未考慮排列方式或是與周邊環境的關聯，故本研究以大安森林公園捷運大廳使用者作為主要研究對象，並以觀察法進行本研究地點詳細的使用狀況調查，再藉由訪談法了解使用者對環境條件之使用感受及喜好，並對此空間座位整體環境因素進行分類，分為「實質環境條件」、「變動性環境條件」、「個人空間及領域」三大類，再以問卷調查法針對個人就座者就座偏好分析。經過整理與歸納，並應用重視與滿意程度相關性，探討整體環境條件對於使用者之影響。
「實質環境條件」類之公共藝術品的位置，影響著個人就座者選擇就座的位置，而前三名喜愛座位中也分布於公共藝術品附近的位置。「變動性環境條件」類中，雖此座位區在氣溫較高時會開啟遮陽設備，室內溫度滿意程度仍偏低，若是此座位區在較炎熱時，對於室內溫度控制還有其他應變計畫，將使室內溫度更適合使用者停留。「個人空間及領域」類整體呈現重視且滿意，表示此座位區社會離心性的座位配置形式，可提供良好的臨時就座空間。
綜合「實質環境條件」、「變動性環境條件」、「個人空間及領域」三項分類，對於就座偏好之分析結果提出建議，以方便未來作為空間改善或其他性質的大眾交通工具等候大廳之公共座位區設計的參考依據。

In view of the deploying of seats in some public transits' concourse or waiting area are arbitrarily and be formed by ready-made seats in regular ways, these seats were already separated without consideration of arranging planning or correlation with environments, the study will discuss about The effect of the environmental condition on public users in a few ways.In this case, personal users of Daan Park MRT Station chose for the researching as spot.
First, details of consumption survey prepared by the observational method. Second, understanding each user's feeling and preference for the environmental conditions by the interview method.Third, by splitting the situation into "Physical Environmental Conditions", "Variable Environmental Conditions" and "Personal Space and territory" three categories, the questionnaire was ruled design by Questionnaire Survey for collecting of analytical information of the seats.
"Physical Environmental Conditions" category is most affected by the location of public artworks. The top three favorite seats are neighboring with the artworks.
In "Variable Environmental Conditions" category, room temperature of seats shows lower satisfaction. Even though the sun visors will work manually when the weather is sweltering, but the heat problem still needs more plans to make the comfort guaranteed.
"Personal Space and territory" of seats are emphasized and met by users. It means the seats were sociofugal arranged and offered a good environment for temporary sitting.
By integrating the above-mentioned, there are some suggestions for other kind of transport station concourse of public seats.
