光與影是人類認知世界的基礎，光影的變化會對人的生理心理產生影響，具有一定的情感調節作用。隨著LED技術不斷成熟，近年來與光影有關的設計創作日漸增多，為人帶來全新體驗，滿足使用者情感與心理的需求。
研究過程主要探討光影對情感影響在產品設計中的應用，市場形態界定為小眾市場。以燈飾設計為出發點，同時探討光影在其他產品上的創作手法。通過對相關產品的蒐集、個案分析，並結合在光影特性、光影對情感的影響、情感化設計等方面的相關文獻和已有研究結論，經整合分析與對比，從中歸納出使用者對光影產品的使用偏好，提出在控製光影形態和影響使用者情感兩方面的設計要素，共六點：（1）運用光影的特性；（2）結合光影應用環境；（3）材質創新；（4）連結使用者已有認知：（5）虛實轉化；（6）增加互動性。為運用光影對情感影響進行設計提供參考。
本論文以創作的形式呈現研究的成果，結合產品、環境與使用者的關係，材質的再加工，並導入「科技」與「商業」元素，最終以三大主題、四件作品來呈現光影對使用者的情感影響。分別為：（一）軟木螢火 Corkfire：「以光為視覺導向」，分為吊燈（Corkfire Droplight）、桌燈（Corkfire Table Lamp）兩件，不同色相、色溫、照度的色光穿透軟木布料，給使用者帶來的情感上的差異感與衝突感；（二）浮游 Swing：「以影為視覺導向」，還原水母游動時的張弛的形態，引導使用者呼吸，放鬆身心。（三）繆姿 Musire：「非光非影下的視錯覺」，利用自然光照下的物理重疊變化，將對音樂的感知視覺化傳達給使用者。

The research process of this literature discusses the application of light and shadow affection in product design. Target group is niche market. The lighting design is the starting point, and the creative techniques of light and shadow on other products are also discussed.
By collecting the related products, case analysis, and combined with the light characteristics, the emotional impact of light and shadow, emotional design, the related literature and existing research conclusion, the researcher summed up the user's preferences of light and shadow products through the integration of analysis and comparison. The researcher propose the design elements that control the shape of the light and affect the user's emotion. It summarizes six important points as below: (1)Use characters of light and shadow; (2) Consider the environment for applications of light and shadow; (3) Material innovation; (4) Link the user's existing knowledge to the design; (5) Transformation of virtual vision and reality; (6) Increase interactivity.
This literature presents the research results through design projects. The researcher also consider about the relationship between products, environment and users，reprocessing of materials, "Technology" and "business" elements. Emotional impact of light and shadow include three projects, including four products. The concepts are: (1) Corkfire:“using light as the visual guidance” a group of two lamps include: Corkfire Droplight, Corkfire Table Lamp. the researcher try to explore how different hue, color temperature, illumination may bring the differences and conflict of emotional impact to the users through the "cork fabric". (2) Swing: “using shadow as the visual guidance”, Imitate the shape of a swimming jellyfish by shadow, guide the user to breathe and relax body and mind. (3) Musire: “visual illusion under no light and shadow”, transmit the visual perception of the music to the user, using the physical overlap under natural light.
