  •   隨著消費市場對於設計價值認知的提升,越來越多的產業願意尋求與設計公司合作的機會,但相較於企業內部建置的設計部門(In House),獨立的設計公司(Design Consultancy)在與企業合作專案時,由於是企業體之外的委外開發案,其溝通管道相對有其不便之處,而開發工作卻要依賴密集的溝通才能順利進行。設計服務產業的經營關鍵便是建立與客戶間的良好溝通平台,良好的溝通管道能避免不必要的損耗,提高效率進而提高獲利。改善設計溝通問題,實為掌握設計公司與客戶建立長期合作關係之重要關鍵。本研究以個案研究方式,訪談夏田產品設計公司之專案負責人,針對7個設計案之設計過程的溝通進行探討,本研究結果發現:(1)溝通問題的產生對專案造成的結果為設計變更、設計拖延、設計中止、影響雙方合作意願、影響獲利,其5項結果之間是會相互作用的;(2)本研究歸納的設計公司對外的溝通問題,與文獻探討中提到的企業內部的溝通問題點,有其共同之處;(3)專案運作流程中,在前置作業階段的省略,易在後續執行過程產生溝通問題;完善的運作流程,會使之較為順利;(4)客戶方參與溝通的人員特質,亦會影響溝通問題的產生。研究結果與建議提供專案負責人面臨溝通問題時的應對,以培育出更具專案管理能力之領導者。


    Nowadays, the consumer market cares about product appearance a lot more than it used to; therefore, more and more industries are willing to consult with design companies about product design. However, unlike in-house design departments, independent design consultancies often have communication problems when working with companies on a consultancy basis. Developing a good design idea relies on constant and clear communication.
    An effective communication process can not only cut down unnecessary cost, it also makes the design process more efficient and brings higher profits. As we know, having good communication is the key point of developing long term cooperative relationships.
    In this research I had case study and interviewed the project manager from SUMMER design consultancy, discussing the communication processes of seven design cases. I found: 1) bad communication results in design alterations, delays, cancelations, strained cooperative relationships and even profit losses; 2) the conclusion of communication problems this research found has similarities with the communication problems inside industries from the record documents; 3) if clear communication is not tended to at the beginning of the project, this lack of proper preparation will lead to more serious problems later on; 4) the personal qualities of both sides of representatives also affects the communication process. The conclusion of this research gives good suggestions when facing communication problems so we can have better qualified case leaders.
