一家以硬體製造聞名全球的老牌的科技企業,面對科技業競技場上詭譎多變的競爭,與合作對手獨斷的商業策略,被迫從改變公司體質開始,藉以迎戰雲端運算產業興起的挑戰。然而,併購、合併與資遣員工及商場上的流言,這一連串的措施,就像環環相扣的鏈條,可以是拯救公司於危崖的救命繩索,也可以是掐住公司咽喉的催命繩。在內憂外患的環境下,本個案公司試圖改變資訊服務思維,企圖藉由贏得政府第一個雲端平台建置標案,引領企業順利飛上雲端。
本論文主要目的為探討上述個案公司之員工,如何突破困境找回公司利基點,讓老牌科技業在「體質整形」之後飛上雲端,贏得雲端資訊服務專案之勝利,使老牌科技公司在政府領域之雲端科技佔一席之地。一個老牌科技業如何飛上雲端,如何重塑企業核心價值為本教學式個案論文探討之重點。
本論文採用哈佛式個案撰寫法,包含個案本文及教師參考手冊兩部份。教師手冊針對個案中的討論內容,包括:雲端產業、危機管理、專案管理議題,分別就文獻學說及個案分析做整理,以期達到應用理論內涵,並體驗實務情境之目的。


The emergence of oncoming technology of cloud computing and irrational determination from the business alliance have forced a very established hardware manufacturing company to re-examine the organization structure and review business strategies seriously for the preparation of battle with the competitors under adverse situation. The events of merge, employee laid-off and spread of non-testified rumor seem like the actions to help company to survive from the severe circumstance, it may however bring a negative influence at the same time. This case study details how this company overcomes the difficulty and shows its intention to win the first government tender of cloud operation platform in order to demonstrate its aggressive determination to be the major player in the cloud computing industry.
This thesis includes two parts, case study content and teachers' guideline manual which were written by referencing Harvard Business case study method. The teachers’ guideline manual includes: case analysis, cloud industry, crisis management and project management. This case study aims to well apply the knowledge theories from literature review into the severe business challenge circumstance through a real case study.
