本論文主要在研究行動電話PCB設計之MCAD與ECAD整合流程規劃,以EMN中繼檔來取代傳統DXF中繼檔,成為機構與Layout部門之間的資料傳遞格式,並整合數個Pro/E外掛程式,以達成下列研究成果:
(1)自動剪裁PCB:在Pro/E外掛PCB裁剪程式中,埋入機構電子件之零件破板區域的屬性,當機構電子件擺放完畢後,執行PCB裁剪程式,即可將PCB的外型自動裁剪完畢。
(2)自動擺件:當機構工程師將機構電子件完成擺放與PCB自動裁剪完畢後,轉出EMN檔案給Layout工程師,Layout工程師只需將此EMN檔與EE的訊號接點檔(Netlist)匯入Layout軟體Allegro中,即可達到機構電子件自動擺放的目的。
(3)自動取代:當Layout工程師在PCB擺放完畢電子零件後,會轉出EMN與EMP檔案,以供機構工程師檢查擺件是否正確。機構工程師只需將此EMN與EMP檔案匯入Pro/E中,此時Pro/E會以已存在的機構電子件自動取代匯入的EE機構電子件,如此可以在Pro/E裡避免零件重複擺放,使機構工程師作干涉檢查時更容易更有效率。
This thesis focuses on the integration of MCAD and ECAD in mobile phone PCB design. An intermediate data format EMN was proposed to replace the conventional format DXF and was used in file transfer between the mechanical design department and the layout department. The employment of EMN data, together with the use of a complete set of Pro/ENGINEER add-on software, the following functionalities can be achieved:
(1) Auto trim of PCB: Implant the properties of cut-board area for mechanical parts in Pro/ENGINEER add-on software “Auto Trim of PCB”. After properly placing the mechanical parts, the shape of the PCB can be automatically trimmed by executing the function of the add-on software.
(2) Auto placement: When a mechanical engineer completes the placement of mechanical parts and the auto-trimming of the PCB, the EMN file is exported for the layout engineer. The layout engineer needs only import the EMN file and the net list file into Allegro, a PCB layout software, to achieve auto placement of all the mechanical parts.
(3) Auto replacement: EMN and EMP files are exported after the layout engineer finished placing the electronic components onto the PCB, and transferred to the mechanical engineer to verify the correct placement of the components. The mechanical engineer needs only import the EMN and EMP file into Pro/ENGINEER, and the software automatically replaces the imported parts with the original mechanical parts. Redundant placement of the components can be avoided and the efficiency of the mechanical engineer during a global interference check is improved.
