  • 隨著現代建築行業的發展,人類不再僅限於建築遮風避雨的基本功能,而是更加注重空間感受和視覺上的體驗,隨之各種形式的曲面建築應運而生,相對於傳統 的平面形式的立面,曲面外表皮層的建造工藝正處於不斷發展的階段,對此,本研 究將會提出一種曲面建築外表皮層設計與建造的思路。 本研究通過手工實體模型實驗和 rhino+grasshopper 相關軟體模擬的方法,探 究 Ron Resch 折疊圖案從二維平面轉化成三維結構的過程,並研究其在三維空間上 的特性,根據這些特性,提出將這種形式的折疊結構運用到曲面建築外表皮層以及 建築幕牆系統的設計中。在第三章的研究中,一共選取了 Ron Resch 四種折疊圖案, 分別對這些圖案進行手工模型製作,探究折疊過程中的形態變化,再研究其重複單 元的折疊運動特性,最後將折疊的三維結構作為可調整形態的參數化模具進行灌漿, 得到不同的曲面三維造型零件,實驗研究流程可以為參數化建築外表皮零件的生產 過程作為參考。第四章利用第三章的研究成果做了三種不同形式的建築設計,以驗 證本次研究的可行性。通過手工實驗和電腦相關軟體的模擬實驗研究發現,Ron Resch 折疊圖案可以作為參數化模具運用到現代建築外表皮層和幕牆系統的設計中。 藉由本次研究關於將折疊結構作為參數化模具運用到建築設計中的討論,提出 一種新的建築設計思路,不同於以往的建築設計先設計好整體造型再對外表皮層進 行分割成眾多小的零件,而是先構想出建築外皮層的呈現形式,用折疊的思路設計 出所需要的最小重複單元幾何形,用這些重複單元作為參數化模具去生產出建築所 需的零件,這樣能在根源上提高生產效率,減少成本和誤差。希望可以通過本研究, 為後續的研究者提供不同的設計出發角度,設計出更加多樣性的建築和空間,研究 出更加完善的折疊結構體系。

    With the development of the modern construction industry, human beings are no longer limited to the basic functions of building shelter from wind and rain, but pay more attention to spatial perception and visual experience,as a result, various forms of curved buildings have emerged, compared to the traditional facades, the construction process of the curved outer skin layer are in a stage of continuous development. In this regard, this research will propose a design and construction idea for the outer skin layer of curved buildings This research uses manual solid model experiments and rhino+grasshopper related software simulation methods to explore the process of Ron Resch's folding pattern from a two-dimensional plane to a three-dimensional structure, and to study its characteristics in three-dimensional space. Based on these characteristics, it is proposed to various forms of folding structures are used in the design of curved building exterior skin layers and building curtain wall systems. In the third chapter of the research, a total of four folding patterns of Ron Resch were selected, and these patterns were manually modeled to explore the morphological changes during the folding process, and then study the folding movement characteristics of the repeating unit, and finally the folded three-dimensional the structure is grouted as a parametric mold with an adjustable form to obtain different curved three-dimensional modeling parts. The experimental research process can be used as a reference for the production process of parametric building exterior skin parts. Chapter 4 uses the research results of Chapter 3 to make three different forms of architectural design to verify the feasibility of this research. Through manual experiments and computer-related software simulation experiments, it is found that the Ron Resch folding pattern can be used as a parametric mold in the design of modern building exterior skin and curtain wall systems. Based on the discussion of the application of the folding structure as a parametric mold to the architectural design in this research, a new architectural design idea is proposed, which is different from the previous architectural design. The overall shape is designed and then the outer skin layer is divided into many small ones. Parts, but first conceive the presentation form of the building skin layer, II
    design the minimum repeating unit geometry required with the idea of folding, and use these repeating units as parametric molds to produce the parts required for the building, so that it can be at the root improve production efficiency, reduce costs and errors. I hope that through this research, we can provide different design perspectives for subsequent researchers, design more diverse buildings and spaces, and develop a more complete folding structure system.
