自金融控股公司法施行後，台灣的金融產業進入了多角化經營的時代。金控公司跨足銀行、保險、證券、期貨、創投等等不同的事業體系，如果能夠整合各事業體系多方的資源，進行跨業行銷，並提供客戶多樣化且一次購足的服務，如此才得以發揮金控集團資源的綜效，提昇服務到達具有國際競爭力的水準。
銀行的消費金融業務，需要處理大量的客戶資料，要做到完善的客戶關係管理與一對一行銷，尤其得仰賴快速與精準的資料分析能力，因此在資料倉儲的相關應用累積了豐富的實務經驗。金控公司的資源整合運用，亦需以客戶關係管理為起點，其相關的跨業銷售與整合行銷運用，如能善用資料倉儲技術，必將成為推展業務決勝之利器。
本論文探討個案銀行的消費金融事業，分析其管理實務上的需求，並經由需求分析與規劃，說明整體資料倉儲架構導入的過程，以及相關之資訊科技如：信用評分模組、線上多維分析處理的應用情形。

The financial business in Taiwan has stepped into the multiple-dimension age, since the law of financial holding company has published. The financial holding companies are usually composed of banking, insurance, securities, futures, venture capital and so on, from varieties of business. It is important to integrate the resources from all of the business units, to process cross-saleing and provide one-stop shopping services. That is the way to leverage the advantages of financial holding company, and to improve the services level and international competitiveness.
It is needed to process a lot of customer data in consumer banking business, especially with one-to-one marketing management and customer relationship management, relying on accurate and efficient data analyzing abilities. Therefore, a lot of experiences of data warehouse applications are accumulated. The resource intergration of financial holding company, are also started with customer relationship management. The applications of data warehousing, will be an important weapon to win the business competition battle.
This study of data warehouse applications in consumer banking business, is to analyze the needs of management and to develop solutions with it, including applications such as the credit scoring module, and online analyzing process.
