本研究係將輕質骨材部份取代天然粗粒料拌製透水性瀝青鋪面,以探討輕質骨材含量對透水性瀝青鋪面工程性質之影響。本研究分二階段進行,第一階段探討透水性瀝青混凝土之配比方式,並建立含輕質骨材透水性瀝青混凝土配比設計法。第二階段針對含輕質骨材透水性瀝青混凝土進行力學性質試驗、鋪面績效試驗、耐久性試驗及透水試驗等,並評估輕質骨材應用於透水性瀝青鋪面之可行性。
研究結果顯示:由於輕質骨材屬於多孔隙材質,因此隨著輕質骨材含量增加,透水性瀝青混凝土之單位重降低、最佳瀝青含量增加。在力學性質方面,馬歇爾穩定值、間接張力強度、直接剪力強度及動穩定值等皆隨輕質骨材含量增加而增加。在透水性質方面,由透水試驗結果顯示,透水係數值皆高於10-2cm/sec,符合透水鋪面之評估準則。在耐久性質方面,以Cantabria試驗而言,磨耗率會隨著輕質骨材含量增加而降低。就浸水馬歇爾試驗及浸水剝脫試驗而言,輕質骨材含量增加雖有助於抵抗水分侵害之能力,但輕質骨材含量超過15%時開始有下降之趨勢。就整體而言,添加輕質骨材能增加透水性瀝青鋪面之力學強度、提高抵抗車轍能力與減少瀝青混凝土水分侵害,因此輕質骨材可應用於中低交通量之透水性瀝青鋪面,但建議取代天然粗粒料含量應低於15%。
This study focus on using the crushing lightweight aggregate (CLA) replace the nature aggregate in permeability pavement, and investigate its engineering properties on different replacement amounts. This study divides into two stages. The first stage is to develope the design method for porous asphalt (PA) with CLA by a theoretical particle packing theory. The second stage mainly evaluated the mechanical properties, pavement performance, durability and water permeability based on laboratory tests performed, and discussed the practicability assessment as well.
Due to CLA porous nature induces the optimum asphalt contents increased with replacement amount, and unit weight decreased with the content of lightweight aggregate increase in PA. In mechanical properties, the Marshall stability, indirect tension strength, direct shear strength and dynamic stability increased with percent of replacement amount. According to other observations show that permeability coefficient of specimens was higher than 10-2 cm/sec, the result demonstrated that have good permeability. The result of Cantabria abrasion test show that abrasion capability decreased with increased with replacement amount. The result of moisture susceptibility tests show that the CLA replace the nature aggregate has well potential for moisture damage resistance but higher replacement amount would result in stripping distress. Generally, the CLA has excellent potential for being used as part of permeability pavement and 15% by volume of aggregate appears to be an optimum amount for use.
