本論文以文獻回顧與案例分析的方式進行，將案例分析的部份內化至抽象式的分析架構當中再進行歸納與比較差異。內容主要是分析卒姆托在面對建築設計當中的構築面向時，是如何透過構築的方式去面對內在與外在的建築議題。最後再分別以結構、材料、細部的面向去分析並歸納卒姆托在每個不同案例當中的構築性表現與設計思維。

而在構築上的結構、材料、細部等三個面向，往往都能與環境、使用者甚至材料去進行對話。本研究的案例在構築上也幾乎具備了存有的構築特徵，並且以實體化物件與虛體化物件透過材料並置與映襯的方式，創造出均質與多層次的物質性視覺效果。

This paper is a result of combining literature reviews and case-study analysis of architect Peter Zumthor by studying the architect’s interior/exterior architectural solutions and analyzing the projects’ tectonic properties.

The structure, materials, and details are elements in architecture that directly interact with sites, users, and even the materials of the building itself. Therefore in the latter half we analyze and induct the case studies by looking at the structure, materials, and details in different projects and further discuss the architect’s design methods.

In sum, most of the cases in the research are ontological, and have had the features of architecture of tectonic itself. The cases studies created a homogeneous and multi-layers visual effect by putting empty body materials and entity body materials in apposition, and forming parallel situation.
