  • 本個案描述一家將娛樂產業集團化的企業,主打高端消費市場,包括酒吧、各種音樂風格夜店、頂級旅遊行程安排等。過去台灣人們多半對夜生活文化給予負面評價,個案公司戮力經營與改革轉型,除引領台灣藝術品味的發展,更讓同行跟進轉型。各產業的成功企業,多半是隨時準備因應環境的改變,或是跑得比市場更快、更前衛。但當產業飽和或經濟的過度樂觀後,或在遭逢環境驟變時,如金融風暴或是疫情肆虐,總會經歷一波淘汰賽,大眾總希望能找到一個走向成功的方程式。但成功從未有公式,它從未能被複製,我們只能避免過去企業所犯下的錯誤。本文探討個案公司後發現,企業成敗與否的關鍵因素,在於策略思維,是「由內而外」的隨時準備面對不同挑戰,還是「由外而內」的反應環境所帶來的變化。
    本論文以哈佛式個案撰寫,內容包含個案本文與教師教學指引手冊兩部分。依照個案實例,導引學員討論企業在進入產業時,如何找到其立足點,在面對快速變動時代,企業該如何因應不同變化與事件的發生,及為何企業費心建立品牌、定位,並履行企業社會責任。期望透過本個案論文的探討,能提供企業高階管理者之經營參考。


    This case study describes a company that has conglomerated the entertainment industry and focuses on the high-end consumer market, including bars, various music genre nightclubs, and top travel itineraries. In the past, Taiwanese people tended to have a negative view of nightlife culture. The case company has made great efforts in management and transformation, not only leading the development of Taiwan's artistic taste but also inspiring peers to follow suit. Successful companies in various industries are often those that are ready to adapt to changes in the environment or are running faster and with more forward-thinking than the market. However, when the industry is saturated, the economy is excessively optimistic, or in the face of sudden changes in the environment, such as financial storms or pandemics, there will always be a wave of elimination, and the public hopes to find a formula for success. However, success has ever had a formula that can be replicated, and we can only avoid the mistakes made by past companies. This article explores the key factors of success or failure of the case company, which lie in strategic thinking, whether it is "from the inside out" to be ready to face different challenges at any time or "from the outside in" to react to changes brought by the environment.

    This thesis is written in the style of Harvard Business School case studies, including two parts: the case text and the teacher's teaching guide. Based on the case example, it guides students to discuss how the company finds its foothold when entering the industry, how it responds to different changes and events in the rapidly changing era, why it strives to establish brands and positioning, and fulfill corporate social responsibility. It is expected that through the discussion of this case study, it can provide management references for senior managers of enterprises.
