移動,是人類的本能行為之一,從最初的人體四肢,演變進化至今各式各樣的交通工具,滿足在移動本質上,衍伸的各種需求。
未來,是個充滿想像與無限可能的詞彙,同時也是一個概念與願景。
本創作論文由陸上交通工具發展史為基礎,進而探討車廠與電影中提出的未來概念汽車背後的願景,以現今時代的汽車為基準,分析整理後產出一套創作方法,此創作方法兼顧了歷史文獻支撐的理性面、能夠讓創作者揮灑創意的感性面,將心中所勾勒出的未來世界,透過概念交通工具,忠實反映呈現。
本創作論文以三件比例模型實體作品,來詮釋闡述設計者對於未來世界的想像,分別為:(1)御風而行(GF No. 1),打破駕駛者與自然環境間隔閡,重新審視人、機械體與自然環境間的關係。(2)飆風再起(GF No. 2),滿足人類追尋速度極限的渴望,運用造形詮釋未來的速度感。(3)潛移默化(GF No. 3),探討人類滅亡後的世界,再次重新演化的細胞體與人造物之間的關聯。
透過本論文歸納出設計方法創作之成品,可看見設計者對於未來願景的期許之具體實現,特殊具有鑑別度的造形,清楚地傳達出以未來為主要背景的創作理念,創立一條具有原創鑑別性之未來陸上交通工具設計之道。
Moving is one of human being’s instincts. From moving just on your own feet in ancient times to moving by various transportation nowadays, the way we move can satisfy all kinds of demands derived from the essence of moving.
Future, a word that is full of imagination and infinite possibilities, is also a concept and a vision.
This practice-based thesis began with the history of land transport and then probing into visions behind future concept cars that were brought up from car producers and movies. Based on the analysis of today’s cars, a new design method was proposed. This method took account of both the designer’s literature-supported rational part and creativity-cultivated emotional part to faithfully reflect his vision of the future world through concept vehicles.
This thesis uses three proportional and tangible models to interpret the designer’s imagination of the future world. This three models are: (1) GF No. 1, which iss aimed to break the gap between the driver and natural environment to reassess the relationship between humans, machines and nature. (2) GF No. 2, which could satisfy human being’s aspiration for extreme speed, and its appearance could interpret sense of speed in the future. (3) GF No. 3, which probes into the world after human extinction and the relationship between re-evolved cells and artifacts.
It is clear to feel that the designer’s expectation of the future is substantiated through the method and designs proposed by this thesis. Furthermore, the special and discriminable appearances clearly convey the ideas of these designs that are featured for the future, and an original and distinctive path for future land transportation design is created.
