近年來，專利情報分析對於企業之技術研發而言，日益重要，企業重視程度與日俱增，本研究有感於此，利用有效的專利地圖工具，選擇一技術主題進行專利分析及佈局規劃。
本文將以雲端架構下MapReduce 運算程式為技術主題，首先運用專利各分析方法，繪製專利圖表包含：專利件數折線圖、趨勢圖、技術分類雷達圖、功效矩陣泡泡圖等，藉由圖表整理結果，分析專利整體趨勢、技術主要專利權人及主要申請人分析、主要專利申請人地域佈局、主要專利申請人技術功效矩陣等，提供相關企業技術及專利佈局概況。接著進行MapReduce 技術之專利預測，其中預測包含兩面向：一為專利整體趨勢預測，預測2013 年至2015 年專利申請及公告件數走向，以推估未來技術趨勢；二為專利技術目標預測，本研究藉由主要專利申請人技術功效矩陣之整理及分析，閱讀IBM 股份有限公司與MapReduce 技術領域相關之專利，並以該公司兩主要子技術於歷年公開之專利內容，進行子技術目標預測。
研究成果分析可獲得如下總結：(1)專利申請情形持續成長，專利公告案件持續增加；(2) MapReduce 技術以IBM、Microsoft 與Google 為主要專利申請人，IBM 公司為第一大專利申請人，Google 公司為第一大專利權人；(3) 目標技術以「子系統數據配置」之應用最具前景；(4) 技術領域未來三年的發展潛力看好，專利申請之成長率最高達58.9%。

In recent years, patent investigation has been getting more important for enterprises. Patent maps are useful tools to show the results of investigation. A study of patent numbers forecasting is presented in this thesis both quantity and quality. In this study, a popular technology “MapReduce of Cloud Computing” was selected to demonstrate the research. Also, the results of the research are shown on the patent maps.
First, patent analysis was made to provide enterprises technology development and patent filing strategies in advance. The methods include “patent chart drawing”, “patents overall trend analysis”, “patent overall trend estimate”, “technical major patentees and the principal applicants analysis”, “geographical analysis of main patent applicants”, and “technical-function matrix analysis of main applicants”. Second, the
study do the forecasting of MapReduce technology in two parts: one is for patent overall trends forecast year 2013 to 2015 by three models, and another is for the patented technology forecasting. The predictions are helpful to organize research and development proposal, and give the recommendations for future research.
Analysis results are summarized as follows: (1) Numbers of filing patents continue growing, and number of granted patents continue to increase. (2) The main patent applicants of MapReduce technology are IBM, Microsoft and Google. IBM is the First patent applicant, and Google is the first patentees. (3) The target technology "Assigning Data for Processing in Subsystem" are the most development trend. (4) Technical development potential of the next three years are optimistic, and the patent filing growth rate will be up to highest 58.9%.
