  • 自2019年11月起,中國武漢華南海鮮市場傳出未知來源肺炎疫情,據悉是由野味病毒引起之疫症,並於短短二個月內造成中國各縣省大範圍封城,而後,病毒擴散到全球。新型冠狀病毒對於絕大多數國家經濟發展瀕臨衰退,各主要經濟體的失業率大幅攀升,世界經濟面臨失業激增的險峻挑戰。具上列所述,勢必要有能檢測到RNA病毒之儀器、治療之藥物、甚至是疫苗,各國相關機構日夜埋首研究,希冀早日尋出此一病的解方。

    本研究以IPC分類號作為資訊篩選首要步驟,藉由關鍵字「RNA」,找出相關IPC分類號並進一步篩選剔除與關鍵字標的明顯不相關之IPC分類號。將之分為篩檢試劑、疫苗、藥物三大類,利用EPO歐洲專利局之Espacenet檢索用具的Advanced search搜尋相關專利確認所屬IPC號之精確度。最後利用統計工具分析使用最後整理出之IPC分類號之專利的主要專利權人、研發強度、歷年申請量、主要五大局專利公告量,及大宗專利所屬國。


    Since November 2019, a pneumonia epidemic of unknown origin has been reported in the South China Seafood Market in Wuhan, China. It is reported to be caused by a game virus. In just two months, it has caused a large-scale lockdown of cities in all counties and provinces in China. Then, the virus Spread to the world. The new coronavirus is on the verge of recession for most countries' economic development. The unemployment rate of major economies has risen sharply, and the world economy is facing the serious challenge of a surge in unemployment. As mentioned above, it is bound to have equipment that can detect RNA viruses, therapeutic drugs, and even vaccines. Relevant institutions in various countries are devoted to research day and night, hoping to find a solution to this disease as soon as possible.

    In this research, International Patent Classification is used as the first step of information screening. The keyword "RNA" is used to find the relevant International Patent Classification and further screen out International Patent Classification that are obviously irrelevant to the keyword subject. Divide them into three categories: screening reagents, vaccines, and drugs, and use the Advanced search of the Espacenet search tool of the EPO European Patent Office to search for relevant patents to confirm the accuracy of the International Patent Classification. Finally, statistical tools are used to analyze the main patentees of the patents using the International Patent Classification finally sorted out, the research and development intensity, the number of applications over the years, the number of patent announcements in the five major offices, and the country where the bulk patents belong.
