  • The current environmental and sustainability issues are important concerns for individuals and companies. The focus on environmental conservation and social responsibility provides a competitive advantage for companies. Therefore, there is a need for a paradigm shift in corporate management methods towards sustainability. In this present competitive world, every company is an integral part of a supply chain network responsible for the effective and efficient movement of products or services from suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to the end customers. Consequently, the implementation of sustainability practices has shifted from being the concern of individual organizations to a focus within the entire supply chain. One of the challenges in implementing Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is the absence of a comprehensive method for assessing the various parameters and variables required to achieve sustainable objectives. Measurement method is also needed to evaluate the relationships among each criterion and determine their relative importance.

This research presented a comprehensive methodology for the evaluation of GSCM in the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through a combined method. It also examined a holistic system that incorporates four components, namely the development of Sink's Seven performance based GSCM performance measurement model, the application of the analytical network process to determine the importance of performance indicators, the application of the objective matrix (OMAX) approach to evaluate performance, and the implementation of the traffic light system (TLS) approach to detect crucial indicators. The model was illustrated through a case study conducted in one of SMEs in Indonesia, which showed how the method collectively enabled a thorough evaluation of GSCM performance within small and medium-sized enterprises.
